Leasing Consultant
The Lucie at Tradition Location: Port St. Lucie, FL Type: Full Time
Job Description

SC Bodner Company seeks a Leasing Consultant to join our team at The Lucie at Tradition, a ±250-unit, Class A multifamily development. We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills to help achieve and maintain the community’s occupancy and retention goals.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Greet prospective residents with kindness and enthusiasm while actively listening to determine their needs and preferences.

·       Tour the community with prospective residents, confidently highlighting the community’s features.

·       Answer phone calls and emails and provide impeccable customer service to prospective new residents, current residents, vendors, suppliers, etc.

·       Conduct daily inspections of model unit(s) and market-ready vacancies to ensure proper cleanliness and aesthetics.             

·       Initiate and complete thorough prospective resident profiles and perform follow-up.

·       Initiate lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective residents of lease results.

·       Complete all lease paperwork and secure rent and deposit checks.

·       Maintain awareness of local market conditions and trends and contribute ideas for marketing, sales, and resident retention.

·       Physically inspects property grounds when on-site, picks up litter and reports any service needs to maintenance staff.

·       Assist with the preparation of daily and weekly reports, resident communications, move-out inventory, market surveys, etc.

·       Thoroughly inspect move-outs and vacancies.

·       Perform routine general office duties (ordering supplies, filing paperwork, typing reports, etc.)

·       Maintain an upbeat attitude.

·       Perform additional duties as assigned.

 

INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

·       Multifamily experience preferred.

·       Minimum 2 years progressively responsible management/business-related experience required.

·       Goal-oriented with a proven history of meeting and exceeding goals on time.

·       High-level written and verbal communication skills.

·       A natural problem-solver with the ability to find creative solutions to challenges.

·       Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel.

·       Ability and willingness to work with a variety of individuals with tact and poise.

·       Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends.

·       Must have and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
